Green Earth Guides:
Traveling Naturally in the World

Right before iPhones and Apps became a thing, I spent a wonderful few years writing green travel guides. The Guides are about 15 years old (and won Treehugger's Best of Green Award), so many of the establishments no longer exist (although some still do!), but the background information is still interesting and valuable. If you are taking a trip to any of these places, consider a print or digital version to get you in the eco-traveling groove. Additional info and some updates to the books can be found in my old Traveling Naturally Blog. Happy traveling!

Information for Ecologically and Health Oriented Travelers Who Wish to Leave a Small Footprint

the essence of traveling naturally
1 Feeling naturally a part of wherever you are traveling; blend into to the local environs, taking the time to see, feel and appreciate where you are.

2 Low-impact, small footprints; making choices that are natural in origin – good for nature, good for you, good for the environment, good for the world
